1. Right-click
on My Network Places and choose
Properties. Then double-click on
Local Area Connection.

2. Click on Properties

3. Check that your Ethernet card
is listed under "Connect Using".
Double Click on Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP).

4. IP address:
your DSL IP Address from your Account
Info.
Subnet mask: your DSL Netmask.
Default gateway: your DSL
Gateway.
Check Use the following DNS server
addresses: and fill in the following:
Preferred DNS
server: 205.238.211.125
Alternate DNS server: 205.238.211.124

Your TCP/IP protocol
is now configured. After the reboot,
you should now be able to surf using
your DSL.

You
must Disable Dial-Up Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer
has separate settings for establishing
a connection. In your Control Panel,
open Internet Options. Click on
the Connections tab.
If you have Internet Explorer 5.x,
Select Never Dial a Connection.
Your window will look a lot like
this one:

Click on the LAN
settings button.
|
|
|
|
|
"Automatically
detect settings", make sure there
is a check mark in there. Then Click
OK until you get back to your desktop.
Open your Internet Explorer, and
surf the net.
